Kuba textiles are a type of handwoven cloth from the Democratic Republic of the Congo known for their geometric and complex surface designs. Made from woven and dyed raffia palm fronds, they embody the culture of tapestry in this region. Traditionally, men weave the cloth, while women are responsible for transforming it into other forms. There are two main types of Kuba cloths, cut pile cloths and flatwoven cloths without pile.
